Year-Around Activities and Opportunities Aplenty

Giddy -Yup for History
One of the most exciting and interesting events of the year is pictured here. The annual Wagon Train stop in Pollock Pines! The event starts in Round Hill Nevada, travels along the Hwy 50 corridor and makes a stop in Pollock Pines. The popular journey is sponsored by the Hwy. 50 Association and is a local (and visitor) favorite. This year (2025) marks the 76th anniversary of the event. Mark your calendar for June 7th to enjoy with friends and family in Pollock Pines.

Pollock Pines and Camino may be small towns on the map - but play a big role in celebrating history and community.
Traditional Logging Days returns to the annual schedule this year and is brimming with activities and skills that celebrate the regions past. Competitions such as axe throwing, pole-climbing and choker setting - plus many more time-honored challenges of the past return to the present at the Pollock Pines-Camino Community Center. There's music, competitions, activities for kids and adults - indeed a high point in celebration and entertainment for the entire region.
The dates for Logging Days 2025 are July 18 and 19. Mark your calendar!
This very popular event is a big attraction - but the Community Center offers a great deal more. From taco nights to classes in yoga, dancing and more - the community never lacks quality activities and entertainment. This year, the Center will also sponsor a chili and barbecue rib cook off.
When not enjoying special celebrations, the Center also serves the pubic good - with meals for seniors and food distributions to folk in need.
Whether for fun or community good, Pollock Pines is fortunate to be home to this exceptional resource - something for everyone close to heart and home.
